SNACK: DATE BITES

A healthy snack with just two ingredients? Absolutely! These bites are great for fuelling dance, and can be taken on the road. Tahini (made from ground sesame seeds) is a good source of magnesium and non-dairy calcium, important for working muscles and supporting bone health.

Serves 1

Ingredients

5 dates (pitted)

1 large tbsp. tahini

Method

  • To prepare the dates, slice from top to bottom and gently separate the two halves

  • Spoon a small amount of tahini into the middle of each date, and seal.
