SNACK: CHEESE, APPLE & NUTS

So - no preparation is required here! Walnuts and cheddar cheese are a great flavour combination, and the apple adds a little sweetness. Walnuts are an excellent source of omega 3 fats, which are invaluable for our joints, brain, heart and skin.

 

Serves 1

Ingredients

A few cubes of cheddar cheese, small handful of walnuts (4-5 walnuts), 1 apple, sliced.

 

*Other cheese and nut combos include pistachio and feta cheese, or almonds and hard aged cheese (e.g. cheddar).
